Feed the Roots! Become a Friend of Rhizome!
Since its founding in 2006, Rhizome has become a unique institution that is valued by diverse communities. Rhizome is a forum for powerful voices, critical discussions, mutual learning, and sharing of resources.
Rising costs and the current economic crisis have hit Rhizome hard—just as they have impacted many others in our community—and Rhizome needs more than food sales to keep this important work going strong. Community institutions need to have strong roots in order to survive and thrive.
The Friends of Rhizome provide financial support to help ensure that Rhizome’s work can continue, that the space remains accessible to all, and that new initiatives like the Rhizome Movement-Building Centre are able to grow.
Our goal between now and the end of 2011 is to build a community of 250 Friends through this campaign. The names of Friends will be added to a new mural inside Rhizome. Please join us and help feed the roots!
